If you’re anything like me, you occasionally like to throw something on when you’re strutting around in your bikini on holiday. I like to have the option to cover-up when I want to and this piece from the David Swimwear range is perfect for just that.
This cover-up is from the ‘David Iconique‘ range (there are other ranges too – David Fashion and David Solutions) and I chose black for its versatility. The material is a soft and gorgeous jersey, so super comfortable on your skin, which I think is important when you’re exposing your skin to the sun, sea and sand! It has a grecian feel to it, with it’s off the shoulder and rope-tie detail around the neck. It’s a great length (covers your bum and top of thighs, which is nice when you’re sitting at the pool bar).
This particular style is from the 2013 range, so is no longer available, but you can see the current range and similar designs at the links above. I’m particularly loving this floral design, so might pick one up for next year’s holiday 🙂
I really love this piece because it’s easy enough to throw on, but looks premium enough to sit at a nice beach bar (it’s almost like a little Summer dress). The off-the-shoulder and bellowing sleeve makes sure you keep cool in the sun. I teamed mine with a large floppy sun hat and Audrey Hepburn style sunglasses from Oasis.
I also wore it on both my holidays with my Rosa Faia bikini – great combo!
This is definitely one of my staples for a beach/pool holiday. What’s yours?
