Travelling to Italy after lockdown – Driving from the UK to Italy

We were as apprehensive about travelling after lockdown as I’m sure many of you were/are… but with no sign of school or childcare on the horizon back home in England, we knew, that as 2 business-owning, working parents, we couldn’t continue for another 2+ months in the same way that the previous 15 weeks had been. UK Family Holidays – The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa

With time being so precious these days (and non-existent it seems!) and now having one of the kids in school so having to work round term times, we are considering UK family holidays more than ever before. We’re lucky to be located in a fantastic part of the UK, with so many beautiful places within an hour or two’s drive and we’re trying to explore as many as we can, whenever we can.

That’s right, you read correctly…UK Family Glamping! That’s glamping right here in the UK, with the great British weather, under the elements…well sort of! After a recent camping disaster (being that we were wholly unprepared for the freezing cold and lack of luxuries with 2 kids!), it made us yearn after a more “civilised” affair and we weren’t convinced that camping was for us.
