Vogue 100: A Century of Style

I had a rather cultural day in Manchester recently, visiting the Town Hall and getting to peak inside the Grand Hall and some of the event spaces and also popping into the new Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibit at the Manchester Art Gallery.

It’s been a few months since I’ve visited the gallery and when I saw that they were to have this Vogue exhibit, I was so excited. My favourite form of art is photography and I particularly love fashion photography, so I’ve grown-up adoring the iconic Vogue front covers. Continue reading

My Mother’s Day Wishlist from Isabella Oliver

It’s Day 3 of my Mother’s Day Wishlist series and this one’s for all you mums-to-be out there…that was me this time last year (crazy to think!).

It’s weird when you’re carrying your child and you are already a mum inside, but your little one isn’t with you yet. So Mother’s Day is an exciting day and what better excuse than to treat yourself to some new maternity wear. I loved Isabella Oliver when I was pregnant. The clothes are fab quality, stylish and super comfortable and don’t make you feel frumpy.

My Mother’s Day Wishlist from Anthropologie

My love affair with Anthropologie started many a year ago, back when I was 21. Back before they had a store on Regent Street in London and before anyone in the UK had even heard of it. So I consider myself a true and loyal fan of their unique designs and beautiful textiles.

I have quite a few Anthropologie pieces in my wardrobe, mainly dresses, as I find their styles flatter my curvy shape more than other brands on the high-street. My hubby also likes the unique designs, which is always a bonus.Continue reading
