There’s no denying that I am not a natural when it comes to outdoor activities and snowy mountains are no exception. Yet, I am married to a snow-boarder and married into a family who love winter sports and know that it’s going to be part of my life from now on. But learning to ski in your 30s is not easy (in my experience anyway) and so it’s going to be a slow and steady process for me and any help I can get along the way is gratefully received. Beginner’s Intensive Ski Lesson at Chillfactore

Last week I had the best and hardest day ever! Chillfactore in Manchester obviously spotted my lack of skiing ability on my blog and kindly invited me down to a day’s intensive lesson with them. Obviously I bit their hand off and booked-in straight away. I opted for the beginner’s intensive ski lesson, which would take place over 1 day (you can also do a 2-day course or split the lessons over 3 consecutive weeks).

Skiing in Flaine – Part 2

After reliving my first (and worst) ever snowboarding experience in the previous post, I thought I’d start this post on more of a positive note. Skiing in Flaine was a vast improvement to my first trip to the slopes after all.
