Beginner’s Intensive Ski Lesson at Chillfactore

Last week I had the best and hardest day ever! Chillfactore in Manchester obviously spotted my lack of skiing ability on my blog and kindly invited me down to a day’s intensive lesson with them. Obviously I bit their hand off and booked-in straight away. I opted for the beginner’s intensive ski lesson, which would take place over 1 day (you can also do a 2-day course or split the lessons over 3 consecutive weeks).

Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester

Last week I had some of the best sushi I’ve eaten in a long time…and it wasn’t in a sushi restaurant, oh no…it was at Sapporo Teppanyaki in Manchester.

Yes, Sapporo Teppanyaki is Japanese food, but it’s not necessarily somewhere you’d think of going for just sushi, is it? Well it wasn’t for me anyway.

So me and hubby had a rare mid-week lunch date, sans baby and boy did we make the most of it! We ate sushi till our hearts’ content. Continue reading

30th Birthday Party at King Street Townhouse

So yes, I know it’s hard to believe, but this is now a Lifestyle Blog of a thirty-something! I turned the big 3-0 recently and had a ball of a time! In fact, my birthday celebrations have extended throughout the whole of July, lucky me.

My wonderful hubby did a sterling job of organising me a suprise 30th birthday party and I genuinely had NO IDEA! God knows how he got that one past me, but I was thrown off the scent time and time again and right up until the last minute, I thought we were just going for a nice meal, the three of us.

So here’s me all dressed-up with the little lady (me in H&M, her in Ted Baker…how does that work?!), thinking that we’re off for a dinner at King Street Townhouse.Continue reading
