Family Holidays in Tuscany – Part 2 – San Gimignano & Pisa

In this less than summery weather that we’re having in the UK, I can’t help but reminisce back to our sunny Easter family holiday in Tuscany where we visited San Gimignano and Pisa amongst other amazing places. We took our 3.5 year old and 10 month old to Tuscany and enjoyed lots of exploring, eating and drinking (the latter was just us adults though!).

Part 1 included how we got to Tuscany and the local villages of Lari, Palaia and Volterra. In this part, we take you to the city of Pisa (which many write-off as they think it’s only about the tourist trap of the leaning tower) and Volterra’s hilltop enemy of San Gimignano…

Flying with Jet2.com

[Gifted – the flights I’m talking about in this post were gifted by Jet2.com, however, views are entirely my own and we have been paying to fly with Jet2.com for 8 years now and will continue to do so.]

Flying with a three year old and a baby

[ad-gifted: I mention Jet2 in this post because we’ve paid to fly with them for the last 8 years now. Our Easter flights were gifted to us but I wouldn’t be writing this if we hadn’t genuinely enjoyed our experiences flying with them. The other items I mention below were also gifted to us but have been a total dream – and they’re cute! I’ve also included an affiliate link.]

We’ve continued to travel since having kids, our first holiday as parents was when our daughter was just 11 weeks old and we travelled at a similar time with our little boy too. We’ve flown, we’ve driven around the UK and even driven to a ski holiday, up the mountains in France. So we’re not afraid to travel with our kids but our Easter trip will be the first time flying with a three year old and a baby: an 11 month old that is. Last time we flew, our baby boy was 5 months old, still breastfeeding and way less fidgety, so we’ll be planning ahead…
