Flying with a three year old and a baby

[ad-gifted: I mention Jet2 in this post because we’ve paid to fly with them for the last 8 years now. Our Easter flights were gifted to us but I wouldn’t be writing this if we hadn’t genuinely enjoyed our experiences flying with them. I’ve been researching family holiday destinations in Italy and came across somewhere that looks to make the perfect family seaside getaway: Cefalù, Sicily. So I thought I might start a new series here on the blog about family holiday destinations in Italy. What do you think? Here’s the first instalment…

UK Family Travel – The Bull and Swan, Stamford – Part 1

Over the Easter Weekend we had a much needed family break, staying at The Bull and Swan, Stamford. The hotel invited us to come and stay for a night, sample their food and enjoy their garden restaurant and outdoor cinema. So who were we to turn down an offer like that?!

The weather was pretty lousy, but this took nothing away from the beautiful town and the hospitality and welcome that we received from The Bull and Swan, Stamford. James, the General Manager and all the staff there were so friendly and with a toddler in tow, we instantly felt at ease and relaxed.Continue reading
